The Yangon Region Investment Committee meeting 8/ 2022 was held at Yangon Region Government Office on 24th August, 2022.
The meeting was chaired by U Soe Thein, Chief Minister for Yangon Region Government and Chairman of Yangon Region Investment Committee and attended by the members of the committee.
The meeting endorsed four foreign investment projects with the capital amount of USD 5.143 million in Manufacturing Sector. The endorsed investment projects include manufacturing of hdpe/ pp woven and non-woven bags/ sacks to provide packing bags for 100 % rice export to myanmar rice exporters, manufacturing of various kinds of garment on CMP basis, manufacturing of various kinds of plastic bags for local CMP garment enterprises , manufacturing of various kinds of layer clothings for local CMP companies.
The approved projects are expected to create 2369 local job opportunities. Moreover, the meeting discussed the general issues submitted by 12 companies.
