"Information Event on Economic Policy and Procedures for Nay Pyi Taw Development" was held at the General Administrative Department, Dekkhinathiri Township, which aims to enhance cooperation among the stakeholders, understand the Myanmar Investment Law, Rules and Regulations, and promote investment. It was organized by the Nay Pyi Taw Council on 15th July 2022.
The event was attended by almost 160 participants, including Dr. Maung Maung Naing, the Chairman of the Nay Pyi Taw Council, Nay Pyi Taw Council Members, and officials from relevant ministries and businessmen from multi-sectors in Nay Pyi Taw.
At the event, Dr. Maung Maung Naing, the Chairman of the Nay Pyi Taw Council, delivered the opening speech. Then, U Win Htein, Director of Agricultural Department, make a presentation about Development in Agro-Based Industry followed by the presentation of Dr. San Tun Wai, Director of Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department, about the potential of value-added production in the livestock sector. Later, Dr. Zaw Lwin, Deputy Director of Consumer Affairs, presented about Consumer Protection Law, and U Hein Zaw, Director of Industrial Supervision and Inspections, presented about department activities.
Then, Daw Yin Yin Nwe, Director of DICA Nay Pyi Taw Office presented on Investment Policy and investment opportunities in Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory. DICA Online Solution (DOSo) and Myanmar Companies Online (MyCO) Video Clips were displayed at the event.
