Union Minister U Kyaw Win visits Ayeyawady Region

U Kyaw Win, Chairman of the Myanmar Investment Commission and Union Minister of the Ministry of Planning and Finance accompanied by U Aung Naing Oo, Secretary of Myanmar Investment Commission and Director General of Directorate of Investment and Company Administration visited Ayeyawady Region Government Office this morning and met with U Hla Moe Aung, Chief Minister of Ayeyawady Region Government, and Ministers of Ayeyawady Region Government, and discussed the investment opportunities in Ayeyawady Region. 

            Then, Union Minister and the officials paid a call on U Zaw Win Shein, Chairman of Pathein Industrial Park and U Htay Myint, Chairman of Irrawaddy Fisheries Development Co., Ltd. Firstly, U Aung Naing Oo, Secretary of Myanmar Investment Commission explained the implementation plan and future corporation with international organization relating to One Belt One Road and China-Myanmar Corridor. After that, The representatives from Pathein Industrial Park made a presentation on the implementation process of Pathein Industrial Park and the Yangon-Ayeyawady (Nga Yoke Kaung) Development Project which had planned to involve in China-Myanmar Corridor and the infrastructure projects in Ayeyawady Region. And then, U Htay Myint from Irrawaddy Fisheries Development Co., Ltd. presented about the situation of their shrimp farming project and the future plan of the business.

            During the trip, Union Minister also made a visit to Myanma Economic Bank and Construction and Housing Development Bank, Pathein Industiral City and the departments under Ministry of Planning and Finance at Pathein and gave gave necessary guidance.
