Directorate of Investment and Company Administration under the Ministry of National Planning and Economic Development opened its regional office in Monywa Township in Sagaing Region on 14th March 2016, aiming to provide and facilitate regional investment promotion activities and incorporation of company and its related business.
The opening ceremony was attended by Ministry of National Planning and Economic Development Union Minister H.E Dr. Kan Zaw, Chief Minister of Sagaing Region H.E U Thar Aye, Senior officials, Departmental heads and entrepreneurs.
Regional Minister for Planning and Economics U Sein Maung and Director General of Directorate of Investment and Company Administration U Aung Naing Oo officially opened regional office of Sagaing Region of Directorate of Investment and Company Administration by cutting ribbon.
Chief Minister of Sagaing Region H.E U Thar Aye opened regional office’s signboard by pressing button.
After that, Seminar on “Current Investment Situation and Procedures” was conducted in Win Unity Resort Hotel. Ministry of National Planning and Economic Development Union Minister H.E Dr. Kan Zaw delivered the welcoming remarks, Chief Minister of Sagaing Region H.E U Thar Aye delivered the Keynote Address and issued company incorporation certificate to the Smooth Cover Co., Ltd. which the first registration company at Sagaing Regional Office.
Then, Director General of Directorate of Investment and Company Administration U Aung Naing Oo explained about the investment opportunities of Sagaing Region and U Than Aung Kyaw, Deputy Director General presented the investment law, procedures and the process of establishing company in Myanmar for investment matters.
