With the aim to promote bilateral trade and investment between two countries and to provide Italian companies with the information to pursue business opportunities in Myanmar, Myanmar "Country Presentation", organized by the Embassy of Italy, was held on 2nd February, 2017 at Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in Rome.
The Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister for Commerce H.E Dr. Than Myint was in attendance to the conference. At the conference, H.E Dr. Than Myint and Mr. Benedetto Della Vedova, Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and International, delivered the welcome remark.
At the occasion, Vice Chairman for Central Bank of Myanmar H.E U Set Aung, Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Construction U Kyaw Lin, Secretary of Myanmar Investment Commission U Aung Naing Oo, Chairman for UMFCCI U Zaw Min Win and CEO of Parami Energy U Ken Tun participated in the session on " Focus Myanmar : an overview of the opportunities ".
The conference was attended by total of (100) participants including businessmen from Myanmar and Italy.
