Directorate of Investment and Company Administration (DICA) has been providing recommendations for Business Visa Extension of Foreign Directors, members, technicians and their family members of the companies, registered at DICA registry and of those companies which have not permits from Myanmar Investment Commission (MIC). Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, in order to reduce submission of the documents for business visa extension and for the best interest of the businesses, DICA will initiate ‘Online Recommendation Letter for Visa Extension ’ process starting from 1 August 2020. For those companies who want to apply Online Recommendation Letter for Visa Extension can click on the DICA website link: https://www.dica.gov.mm; and apply on Online Recommendation Letter for Visa Extension page under Company Affairs section of the website. The recommendation for the visa extension will be announced in the same link together with user guide, letter issued date and reference number.

3. Although Online Recommendation Letter for Visa Extension is being launched, it is announced that DICA continues to accept the manual Recommendation Letter for visa extension for a month until 31-8-2020.
