The Shan State Investment Committee (8/2023) meeting was held on 5th December 2023 at Shan State Government Office. The meeting was chaired by U Aung Zaw Aye, Chairman of Shan State Investment Committee and attended by the members of the committee.
The meeting endorsed the investment project of production and sale of maize. The total investment amount of the project is 5500 million Myanmar Kyats and expected to create 61 local job opportunities.
The Shan State Investment Committee has approved US$ (16.163) million from (7) Foreign investment projects and (32220.744) million kyats, including US$ (6.158) million from (14) Myanmar citizen investment projecrs. These projects have created job opportunities for 1362 local and 68 foreign in Shan State.
