The Yangon Region Investment Committee held its (9/2021) meeting on 12th October 2021.
The meeting was chaired by the Chief Minister for the Yangon Region Government, Chairman of the Yangon Region Investment Committee (YRIC), U Hla Soe and the members of YRIC and the Investors participated in the meeting via video conferencing.
At the meeting, YRIC approved two Myanmar citizen investment projects and a foreign investment project. The projects of manufacturing shoes on CMP basis, manufacturing value added rice and rice cracking and manufacturing legumes on CMP basis are included in the approved projects. The total value of these investment projects are Myanmar kyat 5,420 million and US$ 1.50 million.
The 372 local job opportunities are expected to be created from the new investment projects. Moreover, the meeting also discussed about the issues of fourteen companies.
