The Yangon Region Investment Committee meeting 10/2022 was held at Yangon Region Investment Committee office on 26th October 2022.
The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the Yangon Region Investment Committee U Soe Thein, Chief Minister for the Yangon Region Government and attended by the members of the committee.
At the meeting, Yangon Region Investment Committee approved the endorsement of five foreign investment projects with the capital amount of US$ 7.260 million in the Manufacturing sector.
The endorsed projects include manufacturing of various kinds of garment on CMP basis, manufacturing of wearing apparel on CMP basis and Manufacturing of carton boxes for local CMP enterprises. The approved projects are expected to create 5,514 local job opportunities. Moreover, the meeting, discussed about the general issues submitted by 30 companies.
