The Workshop on Biodiversity and Investment jointly organized by the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration (DICA) and Myanmar Center for Responsible Business was held at the head office of DICA.
At the workshop, Dr. Malar Myo Nyunt, Deputy Director General delivered opening remarks.
During the workshop, Mrs. Vicky Bowman, Director of Myanmar Center for Responsible Business and Mr. Matthew Baird, Director of Asian Research Institute for Environmental Law presented the “Introduction- Biodiversity Human Rights and Business in Myanmar” and “Legal Requirements, Biodiversity and Business” respectively. After that, the participants from DICA participated the group based case study activities.
The workshop was attended by 70 participants from the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration and Environmental Conservation Department.
