SUSTAIN THE COUNTRY'S DEVELOPMENTThe Ayeyarwady Region Investment Monitoring Team conducted a field inspection on carrying out grinding, refining, producing and exporting of paddy, rice and rice products under ARIC endorsement in Nyaungdon township, Maubin District on 30th January 2026. The team discussed and coordinated the needs of the company.
POSTED ON 03 Feb 2026The Yangon Region Investment Committee meeting 1/2026 was held at 9 am on 28th January 2026 at Yangon Region Investment Committee and attended by Chairman of the Yangon Region Investment Committee U Soe Thein, Chief Minister for the Yangon Region Government and Members of the Yangon Region Investment Committee. At the meeting, Yangon Region Investment Committee has approved three Investments projects, manufacturing of consumer electrical appliances, manufacturing and marketing of various kinds of diesel engines and manufacturing of various kinds of garment on CMP basis.These investments are approved with the total capital amount of kyats 9,537.227 million and USD 0.720 Million and 911 local job opportunities can be created.Moreover, the meeting discussed general issues of 12 companies. Among them, two companies that will increase investment amount.

The meeting was chaired by U Tint Lwin, Chairman of the Magway Region Investment Committee and Chief Minister for Magway Region Government, and attended by members, at the committee. At the meeting, the committee members discussed on the matter of the ground field inspections conducted by the Magway Region Investment Monitoring Team.
