President U Thein Sein conferred Presidential Awards for Excellent Performance on 33 bodies for their endeavour for the country on 9th February, 2016 in Nay Pyi Taw. The presidential awards have been conferred annually since 2012 on those who strive for development of the country’s economy and socio economic life of the people.
The group led by U Aung Naing Oo, Director General, Directorate of Investment and Company Administration and Secretary of Myanmar Investment Commission was rewarded Presidential Awards for the Promotion of Investments, the first of its kind in Myanmar’s history in the awarding ceremony.
