A ground inspection team organized by Myanmar Investment Commission, comprised of officials from Directorate of Investment and Company Administration, Department of Industrial Supervision and Inspection , the Department of Environmental Conservation and Department of Labor made a field visit Wilmar Myanmar Port Terminals (Thilawa) Ltd. of Thilawa Port Area Plot No 20 & 21 and the parcel of land Adjoining Thilawa Port Area Plots No.20&21 and the Parcel of land Adjoining Thilawa Port Area Plots No.21& 22, Yangon Region on 8 th December 2017. The team discussed the construction period, operation of business, investment capital, installation of machine, employment, the environmental management plan conducted by the company. The team also discussed the responsibilities of the company and the coordination of these with the respective departments.
