Directorate of Investment and Company Administration (DICA) organized a webinar on “Future of Agriculture and Livestock Sector Investment Dialogue” on 28th January, 2021.
The webinar focused on sharing investment policies and opportunities of agriculture and livestock sectors.
At the webinar, U Thant Sin Lwin, Director General of DICA gave welcoming remarks and U Han Tun, Minister for Agriculture, Livestock, Forestry and Power, Yangon Region Government delivered a Keynote speech. Then, Dr. Ye Tint Tun, Director General of the Department of Agriculture, and Dr. Ye Tun Win, Director General of the Department of Livestock Breeding and Veterinary delivered the introductory remarks respectively.
After that, the representatives from public and private sectors presented ASEAN guidelines opportunities, opportunities and challenges, and financing for agriculture and livestock sectors in detail.
Then, a panel discussion on “How to figure out the ways for the Challenges of Agriculture& Livestock Sector Development” was held. Experts from public and private sectors participated in the discussion and answered questions from the participants.
A total of over 300 participants including government officials, private sector experts and local and foreign businessmen attended.
