ANNOUNCEMENT ON RESTORATION OF COMPANIES FAILED TO RE-REGISTER

Directorate of Investment and Company Administration had announced that all companies and other entitieswere required to re-register on the Myanmar Companies Online (MyCO) registry system in accordance with section 421(d) of Myanmar Companies Law 2017 within the period of 6 months from 1st August 2018 to 31st January 2019 and re-registration process had concluded accordingly. Any company or entity which failed to re-register will be struck off from the registry.

In accordance with the paragraph 4(d) of Myanmar Companies Regulations 2018, any company or entity which failed to re-register for any reason need to come to the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration Head Office in Yangon in person for re-registration with payment for prescribed fees no later than 30th March 2019.

The company need to paythe fee prescribed by notification (64/2018) and applications for late re-registration will NOT be accepted after 30th March 2019 for any reason.
