A series of training workshops focusing on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Creating Shared Value (CSV), jointly hosted by the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration (DICA) and the Myanmar Centre for Responsible Business (MCRB), continued at the DICA head office on 14th March 2017.
On the sixth day of the workshop, the MCRB team, led by Director Vicky Bowman, explained the importance of creating shared value, the trends in CSR and the pros and cons of compulsory CSR spending. Ms Bowman also discussed the role of DICA and the Myanmar Investment Commission in encouraging CSR. Twenty five senior DICA staff and MCRB experts attended the sixth day of the training series.
