“MYANMAR INVESTMENT SEMINAR FOR AUTOMOTIVE PARTS AND COMPONENTS SUPPLIERS HELDS IN THAILAND”

In order to provide the information regarding the investment in Myanmar, the Myanmar investment seminar for automotive parts and components suppliers  was held in Chongburi and Rayong, Thailand on 12 and 13 December 2019.

Myanmar delegation led by Deputy Director General (DDG) of the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration (DICA), U Soe Myint Aung accompanied by the representatives from Ministry of Planning, Finance and Industry (MOPFI) attended the seminar. It was also attended by the investors from  automotive components industries of Thailand.

During the seminar, DDG of DICA, U Soe Myint Aung delivered the speech and Director of DICA, Dr.Wunna Aung presented the investment opportunities in Myanmar especially the automotive sector. Then, the automotive policy in Myanmar was also presented by General Manager of MOPFI, Daw Yi Yi Kyaw.

In addition, Myanmar delegation also responded the questions which were raised by the automotive  investors.

Myanmar delegation also visited to the automotive factories in Thailand during the mission.
