YANGON REGION INVESTMENT COMMITTEE MEETING HOLDS ITS 8/2023 MEETING

The Yangon Region Investment Committee meeting 8/2023 was held at Yangon Region Investment Committee Office on 30th August 2023. The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Yangon Region Investment Committee U Soe Thein, Chief Minister for the Yangon Region Government and Members of the Yangon Region Investment Committee.

       At the meeting, Yangon Region Investment Committee had approved (1) Myanmar Citizen investment project in manufacturing Sector and (11) Foreign Investment projects including projects of Manufacturing of Garments on CMP basis, Manufacturing of Wearing Apparel on CMP basis, Manufacturing of Down and Feather on CMP basis and Manufacturing of Shoes on CMP basis.  

          The total capital amount of approved investment projects are Kyat 2,054.325 million and USD 14.775 million. The approved projects will be able to create 9,216 local job opportunities. Moreover, the meeting, discussed the general issues of the fifteen companies.
