NAY PYI TAW’S INVESTMENT PROMOTION SEMINAR WAS HELD

With the aims to promote manufacturing and investment in Naypyitaw so as to support the Nation ‘s economic development, the Naypyitaw Council Investment Committee (NCIC) and Directorate of Investment and Company Administration (DICA) jointly held Nay Pyi Taw’s Investment Promotion Seminar at Zabuthiri Hall in Nay Pyi Taw Council on 30th August 2023.

             At the occasion, the attendees were Nay Pyi Taw Council Member, Director General Directorate of Investment and Company Administration, members of NCIC and officials from Regional Departments. Altogether 120 persons including high level representatives and businessmen of Private sectors such as UMFCCI, MRF, Nay Pyi Taw CCI, MSMEs were actively participated and discussed.

             During the event, the Nay Pyi Taw Council Member and Nay Pyi Taw Investment Monitoring Team Leader, U Zayar Lin addressed an opening speech and Directorate of Investment and Company Administration Director General U Thant Sin Lwin delivered a keynote speech. Then, U Aung Swe Oo, Deputy Director presented about the Investor’s Rights and Responsibilities according to Myanmar Investment Law. Afterward, Daw Yin Yin Nwe, Secretary of Naypyitaw Council Investment Committee, deliberated Investment Potential and Prospects of Nay Pyi Taw. U Ye Min Aung, Chairman of Myanmar Rice Federation also shared his wider view on Investment & Trade opportunities in Nay Pyi Taw.
