DISCUSSION WITH EITI INTERNATIONAL SECRETARIAT

Ms Gay Ordenes, Regional Director of  the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI)  International Secretariat from Oslo, Norway, paid a courtesy call on U Thant Sin Lwin, Deputy Director General of Directorate of Investment and Company (Coordination), at DICA’s  head  office in Yangon on  21st  March  2017.

They cordially discussed matters relating to the importance of beneficial ownership reporting in implementation of EITI – a global standard to promote the open and accountable management of extractive resources. EITI seeks to address the key governance issues in the oil, gas and mining sectors.
