DISCUSSION WITH MYANMAR PEACH CO., LTD.

The potential for investment in the renewable energy sector – solar, wind and hydro power – was discussed at a meeting between the Myanmar Peach Co Limited and the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration on 3rd March 2017.

The meeting between the Myanmar Peach Co delegation led by Managing Director,Mr. Kyaw Thura,andDeputy Director General (Operation), U San Myint, also discussed the operation of the new Myanmar Investment Law, including the way in which investment permits would be approved when other ministries, for example, those dealing with electricity, oil and gas, and mining, were involved.
