DISCUSSION WITH THE WORLD BANK GROUP DELEGATION

The future development of Myanmar’s economy, including the role played by the private sector, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and the Myanmar Business Forum, was discussed at a meeting between the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration (DICA) and the World Bank on 3 March 2017.

The Director General of DICA, U Aung Naing Oo, and the World Bank delegation led by Country Manager of Myanmar, Mr. Abdoulaye Seck, also discussed the implementation of the Myanmar Investment Law including the decentralization of decision-making for investment projects from the Myanmar Investment Commission to State and Regional Governments.
