FOOD VALUE CHAIN FORUM IN MYANMAR
Co-organized by ASEAN-Japan Center and Mandalay Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MRCCI) , Food Value Chain Forum in Myanmar was held on 15th February, 2017 at the meeting hall of MRCCI in Mandalay, Myanmar.
It was attended by a total of 137 participants comprising of the Ministers of Mandalay Region, Director General of Directorate of Investment and Company Administration (DICA), representatives from ASEAN-Japan Center, Economic Counselor From the Myanmar Embassy of Tokyo, Japanese investors and local businesses.
At the forum, Dr. Soe Than, Minister from Ministry of Agriculture, livestock and Irrigation of Mandalay Region and Vice Chairman of MRCCI gave the opening remarks respectively. Then, U Aung Naing Oo, Director General of Directorate of Investment and Company Administration (DICA) made a presentation of the investment opportunities of Myanmar and Mandalay Region.
