A WRAP-UP MEETING FOR DICA-JICA DISCUSSION SERIES ON INFRASTRUCTURE PPP FRAMEWORK IN MYANMAR

With the collaboration of Directorate of Investment and Company Administration (DICA) and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), a wrap-up meeting for DICA-JICA Discussion Series on Infrastructure PPP framework in Myanmar was conducted at DICA office in Yangon today (21st March 2016). It was attended by a total of 30 participants comprising of 12 Myanmar taskforce members from line ministries led by U Aung Naing Oo, Director General of DICA under the Ministry of National Planning and Economic Development and also the Secretary of Myanmar Investment Commission (MIC), 4 Representatives from JICA Myanmar Office and 14 DICA staffs. At the meeting, Mr. Kyosuke INADA, Deputy Chief Representative of JICA Myanmar Office, made a presentation on the draft report of Financing Infrastructure Development & PPP Framework for Myanmar and the taskforce members shared their experiences learnt from 6 meetings in Myanmar and the study tours to Singapore, the Philippines and Indonesia for DICA-JICA Discussion Series to the participants.
